Unearthen Episode #18

My guest this week is Lesli Wood of La Curie Perfume. I wear her perfume - and literally whenever I do, at least a few people (or more) ask me what it is. I'm obsessed with perfume and really specific about it, and Lesli's style is my favorite. I don't know how she does it, she's incredible. I suggest getting her sample pack on her website - go here! The inspiration for her playlist is Jean Arp. "Soon silence will have passed into legend. Man has turned his back on silence. Day after day he invents machines and devices that increase noise and distract humanity from the essence of life, contemplation, meditation". ~Jean Hans Arp Lesli says: I'm also a musician so a great soundtrack is essential for working. Jean Arp was one of the inspirations I got into while making my perfume ODYSSEY. It's a blend of futurism, utopia, nostalgia, and surrealism. To me this playlist captures the emotional dichotomy of moving forward and looking back.
